Torrey Pines Kiwanis and San Diego Magazine's San Diego Festival of the Arts™ gathers nearly 200 artists in a bay view setting of original fine art, entertainment and delicious cuisines, complemented with fine wine and craft beer as you stroll the turf of Waterfront Park. San Diego Festival of the Arts™ garners critically acclaimed artists from around the country for an elegant and high quality showcase. Guests will enjoy an exceptional dining experience from San Diego's favorite restaurants, experience San Diego craft beer, and experience interactive activities for the whole family.
The Festival is produced by Torrey Pines KiwanisFoundation, a 501(c)3 that raises funds to support adaptive sports and recreation programs for San Diegans’ with disabilities. The Festival is a unique opportunity to combine support for adaptive programs and services that help those who have incurred serious and long term injuries, and artists who work hard to bring creativity and imagination to us every day. Peter Sprague and Fred Benedetti
Fred Benedetti has performed in the United States, England, Germany, the Czech Republic, Canada, Taiwan and Mexico and locally with theSan Diego Symphony, the San Diego Opera, the Starlight Opera, the American Ballet Company, the Old Globe Theatre, Luciano Pavarotti, and jazz artist Dave Brubeck. Peter Sprague is a a San Diego based jazz guitarist, composer, arranger, recording engineer, producer, and life-long surfer. Peter Sprague and Fred Benedetti are joining together as a duo to perform Center Stage at the 29th annual La Jolla Festival of the Arts.

Jazz 88 All-Stars
A straight ahead quintet, playing the Jazz Classics from Wayne Shorter to Horace Silver and from Herbie Hancock to Miles Davis. This all-star band represents KSDS JAZZ 88.3, San Diego’s award winning jazz radio. All pros in their own right, each player works in their wide variety of musical settings.

Ben Owens
Award-winning guitarist Ben Owens began playing guitar professionally in highschool. Ben’s debut album of solo guitarpieces has drawn fantastic reviews from top names in the guitar community. He has performed at music festivals in both Los Angeles and Nashville as well as at the prestigious “Lord of the Strings” concert series in Dana Point, CA—a series featuring the finest acoustic guitar talent on the modern scene.

Tom Greisgraber
Until you’ve seen it performed live, the music of Chapman Stick player Tom Greisgraber sounds too big to be real. There are acoustic guitar or piano-like moments, funk rock bass lines, ambient synth and soundscape textures, rock guitar leads, jazz solos and even small bits of percussion sometimes all happening simultaneously.

Gayle Skidmore
Six-time San Diego Music Award nominee Gayle Skidmore has written over 2000 songs since she began songwriting at the age of 8. A born songwriter, her natural ability and innate passion for music made her music career unavoidable. Gayle Skidmore’s latest album and coloring book, “Sleeping Bear,” won Best Pop Album in the 2014 San Diego Music Awards. She also won Best Singer-Songwriter in the 2013 San Diego Music Awards, and her song “Paper Box”.

Ace Tropic
Ace Tropic is an authentic blend of tropical, urban, reggae, and worldbeat music, featuring steel drums and vocals.

Jasmine Commerce
Jasmine Commerce is a singer/songwriter originally from Virginia. She has shared the stage with talents like Joss Stone, Natasha Bedingfield, Matt Costa and Abigail Washburn, and has recorded her original music with Sean Watkins (of Nickel Creek), Sony ATV’s “Hickory Records”, and L.A.’s indie label, “Cleopatra Records”. Jasmine has won several songwriting awards, like Nine West’s “Vintage Voices” National Songwriting Competition, SD County’s Singer/Songwriter Contest, and Sophie 103.7′ FM’s Songwriting Contest. Jasmine has released 2 independent EPs, available on iTunes. 1n 2015, Jasmine’s Kickstarter campaign was successfully funded, and she will release her first, full-length album later this year.

The Jazz Pigs
Formed in 1991 by Vibraphonist Carlos X. Pena, The Jazz Pigs have performed there high energy brand of Latin Jazz Fusion throughout southern California and at several prestigious festivals In the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia. Including The Cork Jazz Festival, The Birmingham International Jazz Festival, The Galway Arts Festival and many others. The group is in final preparations for their 3rd and fourth CD releases that will be out in the Fall of 2015 and Spring of 2016.
