SAN DIEGO, Calif. (January 8, 2020) -- The 2020 San Diego Festival of the Arts will return to downtown San Diego's beautiful Waterfront Park on Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14.
Now in its 34th year, this prestigious juried festival will showcase stunning works of painting, sculpture, photography, glass, jewelry, ceramics, wood, fiber and mixed media from nearly 200 world renowned artists. Ticket sales (starting at $12), a silent auction and wine and beer garden all benefit 20+ adaptive sports programs supporting more than 150,000 San Diegans with disabilities. Led by the Torrey Pines Kiwanis Foundation, the San Diego Festival of the Arts has raised more than $2.6 million for this cause since 1987.
Beyond the incredible selection of art on display available for purchase, guests will once again enjoy world-class live music and entertainment both days, a selection of outdoor lawn games and a variety of cuisine options for every palate, from gourmet wood-fired pizza to BBQ and more.
Boasting interactive fountains, intimate gardens, expansive harbor views and excellent access to public transit, Waterfront Park has emerged as a quintessential destination for residents and visitors alike. In 2016, the San Diego Festival of the Arts became the first art event ever held at the park and has proven to be an ideal showcase for a variety of media.
